How do I find their website?

The Samsung website can easily be found at www.samsung.co.uk .

What types of mobile phones do they make?

Their phones are split into four different sections on their website. They have clam shell designs, sliding and swivelling phones, and also bar phones. These are basically phones where the shape cannot change. It will either have the buttons or keypad integrated into the main shape, or it will have a large touch screen which you can use. Most of their bar phones have the keypads built in, but they do have touch screen models as well.

They also have music features, internet capabilities, games and much more featured with many phones across all the ranges.

Why does a mobile phone by this brand fit the bill?

Well as you can tell there are plenty of different options and choices no matter where you go and what handset you might be looking at! The versatility with Samsung phones – not to mention the unmistakeably modern designs – is second to none.

Sometimes it can seem hard to find a basic mobile phone that is more for making calls and texting people than anything else. But while their most basic handsets are also for taking pictures and have other functions on them too, you can imagine they are good for beginners to mobiles. And of course, the more technologically advanced will also have plenty to find that will suit them!

Do they have mobile phones with hidden keyboards or touch screen options?

The answer is yes to both. The newer phones are very good as they have touch screens that extend to almost the entire surface area of the phone itself. As you can imagine, these are excellent for surfing the web and perhaps answering and composing emails as well.

They do have a small handful of handsets that have some kind of integrated slide out keyboard as well, although not all of them are based on the QWERTY idea. Most are a traditional handset keypad that slides out.

But if you want your mobile handset to look more like a mobile, then you can get those as well.

Is their website very informative?

Definitely – if you go to the top of the home page and hover over the products tab, you will be able to click on mobile phones as your choice on the left hand side.

You will see the range of handsets that fall into each of those four categories mentioned above, and you can then pick the one you like the most. Open it up in a new tab so you can easily flick back to the whole range to pick another one if you wish.

The phone then appears in a box with four tabs at the top. The first one enables you to see different views of the phone, which you can see in a new window. Make sure you scroll down though because you can find out a lot more information by doing so. This is nice and accessible as well, which is good if you don’t need to know all the technical stuff.

But if that kind of level of detail is worth reading for you, just click the next tab along to read a bit more. This has got the basic specifications first, and then you can click ahead to read the full specs as and when you want to.

There is also a link you can use to find a retailer near you if you have found the handset you want and you need to know where to buy it from. Oh, and don’t miss the ‘downloads and support’ page as you can get the guides and user manuals for the phones you particularly like here. These will help you to choose the right phone for you.

In conclusion

Samsung is a great manufacturer when it comes to mobile phones. The website is extremely helpful and you can find that there are plenty of handsets here to look at.

With such a wide range of phones that are designed for all types and methods of use, you cannot fail to come away with something you want to buy.
