How Many Useful Attachments Are There For Your Mobile Phone?

Friday October 23, 2009

Most people now own a mobile phone. But if you have one yourself you will know that it isn’t as simple as just buying the phone. There are all kinds of other gadgets and add ons that you can get to go with it.

Here’s a look at some of the options you have available. Firstly there is the question of making it your own. This can easily be done with a mobile phone dangler. This is so called because you can thread it through the small hole that is found on most mobiles, before feeding it back through the loop. They come in all kinds of shapes and sizes, and you can usually buy them for a pound or two.

Some charities have now caught onto this idea, and produce phone danglers to raise much needed funds. You can also buy more practical ones that come in the form of a small shammy pad. This can then be used to clean the screen of your mobile phone – a very useful thing to have considering how often we use our phones.

But what else is available? Well you can also get protective covers and socks for your phone. Some models have cases that are specifically designed to fit on them, but others will fit into a mobile phone sock to keep them safe from harm. If you drop your phone it will be more protected from damage if you have got it housed in one of these than if it didn’t have a cover.

And as with phone danglers you can also get the socks in all kinds of designs and finishes. Incidentally if you are looking for a nice useful gift for someone you know who has a mobile phone, why not look for a matching set featuring these two products? It’s fairly cheap and is generally well received since it is so useful.

There are of course lots of more practical things you can buy for your phone as well. If you are constantly forgetting to charge your phone, make sure you buy a charger which fits into the cigarette lighter in your car. Just plug your phone in and it will charge up while you are out and about driving. Just remember not to use your phone while you are on the move.

For larger phones like the iPhone you can get a low priced but effective screen guard to protect the screen. There are also emergency USB chargers which plug into your computer and provide a good back up for those low batteries when they occur.

Of course you could end up buying all the mobile phone gadgets in the world, but it pays to figure out which ones would suit you best. You can then invest in one or two that you would get the most service from, and perhaps add more as and when you find you need them.

Although with a dangler and a sock, what more could you possibly want?
